I’ve always had a deep connection with music, and although tastes and styles change, that connection will not. After studying piano from the ages of six to twelve I picked up the guitar and haven’t put it down since. Some of my biggest influences include Phil Keaggy, Paul Jackson Jr., John McLaughlin, Paul Gilbert, Terry Kath, Ty Tabor, Hendrix, Charlie Christian, Randy Rhodes, and the list goes on.
From 2001-2004 I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with multiple scholarships and in 2004 I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Production & Engineering.
Following graduation I relocated to Nashville, TN and began working as an assistant engineer at Dark Horse Recording. From 2006 to 2011 I worked as Keith Thomas’ right-hand man, filling a variety of roles including writer, programmer, engineer, mixer, and even co-producer. Currently, I have my own mix, programming and overdub room (Avid HD Native, Apogee Convertors, Pro Tools 10, Logic Pro X) in Brentwood, TN available for vocals, guitars and any of your overdub needs with a modest but high-quality selection of preamps and mics.
I’ve been fortunate to work and/or play on a number of wonderful projects for many producers, artists, and engineers including: Mat Kearney, Heather Headley, Bebe & Cece Winans, Forever Jones, Danny Gokey, Josh Gracin, Vanessa Williams, Shonlock, Blake Shelton, Keith Thomas, Rissi Palmer, Steve Green, Laura Turner, Michael Bolton, Landon Pigg, Guy Penrod, Mark Shultz, Relient K, Savvy & Mandy, Savannah Outen, Celica Westbrook, Bill Whittington, Will Champlin, Lindell Cooley, Lori Michaels, Robin Crow, Tim Veazey, Adam Nitti, Mark Townsend, Bernie Herms, Dan Muckala, Shane Keister, David Hamilton, Dick Tunney, Kirk Whalum, The Elms, John Nicholson, First Call, and Cheyenne Kimball and many others.
